United is getting rid of its 747s this year but there’s plenty around today at SFO. No on foot police chases on the taxiways/runways so far.

More 747 action:

The SFO Museum also has a large and excellent United Airlines history exhibit in Terminal 3, on the passageway down to gates 76-90:

United is getting rid of its 747s this year...

You could even say, they’re re-accommodating the 747s...

(I’ll show myself out)

Keep your eyes sharp, I’ve see some A380's and 787 dream liners at the SF airport.

Starred because of reference to Bullitt and the haunting airport scenes.

No wonder Mann revisited the trope for the ending of Heat.

I went to see Heat in the theater opening weekend. We ended up in the corner of the first row. I told my friend if this movie isn’t ****ing amazing we’re walking out. End result: my neck hurt for the next day.

Yep, taken just now, UA 787 taking off, AC at the gate next to two UA 747's and a Lufthansa A380.
